AICTE Partners with Apna.co to Launch Nationwide Career Portal for 3 Million Students
The AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and apna.co have joined hands to introduce the ‘AICTE Career Portal’. This platform is geared towards providing job and internship opportunities to more than 3 million students across 12,000+ colleges affiliated with AICTE. Set to launch on April 30, 2024, the AICTE Career Portal is tailored for job seekers, offering access to a diverse array of national and international job openings. Plans are in place to incorporate internships by the third quarter of FY2024.
This collaboration also equips colleges with valuable resources such as the Outcomes Dashboard, facilitating data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Furthermore, the College Community feature fosters crucial communication and networking. Inclusive placement statistics attract specific companies, bolstering the college’s standing among both students and employers.
The platform includes an AI-powered Resume Builder for crafting impressive resumes and provides real-time notifications for job updates. Students can enhance their professional skills through affinity-based groups, ensuring continuous professional development. Additionally, AI-assisted interview preparation and salary benchmarking features are set to be launched soon.
Partnership Between AICTE and Apna.co
In February 2024, apna.co and AICTE inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), solidifying their joint commitment to bolstering individuals and advancing the nation. This alliance holds significant importance in the ever-evolving job landscape, emphasizing their shared dedication to utilizing technology and enabling recruiters to seize emerging prospects.
Moreover, this collaboration presents an exclusive chance for students to partake in the Silicon Valley Immersion Program. This immersive journey encompasses a fully-funded expedition to Silicon Valley, USA, where students will interact directly with leaders from esteemed companies like Google, Apple, and Microsoft, among others.
The launch ceremony at AICTE HQ in New Delhi witnessed the presence of AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Vice Chairman Dr. Abhay Jere, Member Secretary Prof. Rajive Kumar, and Nimrit Parikh, the Founder & CEO of Apna.co.
