Colorado Christian University (CCU), located in Lakewood, Colorado, offers a range of scholarships for international students aiming to pursue undergraduate studies in 2025. 1. Academic Merit Scholarships

- Amount: $22,000 per year ($88,000 maximum)

b. Trustees’ Scholarship
- Amount: $18,000 per year ($72,000 maximum)
- Eligibility: Typically a 3.8 GPA and ACT score of 28, SAT composite score of 1310, or CLT score of 92. Test scores are required.
c. President’s Scholarship
- Amount: $16,000 per year ($64,000 maximum)
- Eligibility: Typically a 3.6 GPA and ACT score of 24, SAT composite score of 1180, or CLT score of 79. Test scores are optional; without test scores, a GPA range of 3.6 – 3.79 is required.
d. Deans’ Scholarship

2. World Changers Scholarship – Full Tuition
The World Changers Scholarship is a prestigious full-tuition annual award granted to three new freshmen. To qualify, students must:
- Be admitted to CCU by December 16, 2024.
- Be eligible for the Trustees’ or Distinguished Achievement Scholarship.
- Submit standardized test scores (ACT, SAT, or CLT).
- Participate in the on-campus competition held on January 16-17, 2025.
Recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA at CCU and meet all student aid eligibility requirements. The scholarship covers full tuition, including the block rate for 12-18 credits, and any amount for additional credits above 18.

3. Transfer Student Scholarships

a. Distinction Scholarship
- Amount: $13,000 per year ($6,500 per semester)
- Eligibility: Minimum GPA of 3.5.
b. Commendation Scholarship
- Amount: $11,000 per year ($5,500 per semester)

c. Recognition Scholarship

4. Core Program Scholarships
Students seeking a degree in a CCU Core Program automatically qualify for a $1,000 per year scholarship ($4,000 maximum). The priority deadline to qualify is July 17, 2025. To maintain eligibility, students must remain enrolled in the Core Program for which they applied and meet all student aid eligibility requirements.

5. Preferred Admission Scholarships
International students who apply and deposit by the Preferred Admission deadline can qualify for additional scholarships:
- Out-of-state students: $1,000 per year ($4,000 maximum).
The Preferred Admission process is non-restrictive and non-binding. Program incentives are only for students who meet the Preferred Admission program qualifications and plan to enroll in CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies for the Fall 2025.
6. Partner and Legacy Scholarships
CCU offers additional scholarships for students affiliated with partner organizations or with family ties to CCU:
- Legacy Scholarship: $1,250 per year ($5,000 maximum) for children or siblings of CCU alumni or current students.
- Partner Organizations Scholarship: $1,250 per year ($5,000 maximum) for students affiliated with select partner organizations such as Dare2Share, Summit Ministries, Discovery Preview, and Young Life.
These scholarships can be stacked on top of academic/merit scholarships. Eligibility is determined based on the student’s affiliation with a partner institution at the time of their application and acceptance to the University.
7. Additional Scholarships
a. Music Performance Scholarship
Available to students who exhibit exceptional musical ability. Recipients must audition to qualify and are required to participate in choir or band ensemble. Scholarship amounts vary.
b. Athletics Scholarship
Available to student-athletes recommended for scholarship consideration by the CCU Athletics Department. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress. Scholarship amounts vary.
8. Application Process for International Students
International students must follow specific steps to apply for admission and scholarships at CCU:
- Application: Complete the CCU application for admission, including essays and required documents.
